Three calls from this number today, all asking stuff like my age group and other personal details. I didn’t give them any info. The person had a really thick accent which made it tough to get what they were saying. Ended up blocking the number after they kept ringing back.

Got a call from someone with a really dodgy Asian accent trying to speak English. They kept asking questions so I just ended up hanging up. After that, I went ahead and blocked the number.

The lady was talking so quickly I could hardly catch her accent, so I just hung up.

I got a call from this bloke claiming to be the dad of Billy Elliot, asking if I believed his lad 'was queer'. I told him I’m a proud gay guy myself and found that kind of language pretty offensive. He then tried to make up for it by saying he’d give me free coal, a pet ferret, and even have his mate’s brass band come round for a visit. I said thanks but no thanks (though honestly, I might have been tempted by the ferret). Told him he might want to chill on throwing insults about next time.

Every time I answer, they just keep cutting the call off! So annoying!

If you’re gonna do cold calls and bother folks, maybe think twice about who you get to make those annoying calls. Having a really thick foreign accent right off the bat just makes it worse and people switch off straight away.

I just told them they were calling from Opinion UK and then ended the call, sounded like a foreigner.
