I picked up this call because my phone didn’t mark it as anything dodgy, it looked like just a normal UK mobile number. The bloke on the other end had an Asian accent and said his name was “Mike” (right…). Apparently he was from some sort of reclaim outfit. Another scam, of course. The worst bit is I’m now getting like four or five calls like this every single day - it’s proper harassment, and no-one seems to be able to put a stop to it.

I've been getting loads of calls, more than 700, from people saying I rang them which I definitely didn't do. No idea what's happening but the phone company has been no help when I called. I'm planning to pop into the phone shop tomorrow to try and sort this out. Sorry to anyone who's been bothered, please don't ring or message me again.

I rang the number back and got this weird automated message saying something like “do not pick up, this phone’s been hacked and compromised.” Pretty creepy if you ask me.
