I just got a ring from this number saying that a letter of mine was sent back to HMRC and I needed to speak to someone about sorting it out, telling me to press 1. The bloke on the other end said a very English name, but his accent definitely wasn’t from around here. I told him I’d actually rung about winning the lottery and pressed 1 to chat, but he got all flustered and then hung up on me.
