Got a call on my landline from a mobile number, 07835 220885, from someone claiming to be with BT. She said my IP address was in danger and urged me to access my computer's admin settings using a special code she claimed only we would know. She was really insistent about doing it right away. The name she gave sounded very British, but her accent wasn’t English at all. She kept interrupting me and stressing how risky it was if I didn’t comply. Definitely felt like a scam trying to keep me hooked on the call.
