I got a call from some recorded message claiming to be from a bank, saying there were charges about to be made on someone's account - amounts between £600 for Amazon and £2000 for an overseas transfer. It told me to press 1 to confirm the payments or 2 to stop them. This is the second time this week I've been called by a similar scam, albeit from different numbers, so I guess I’m officially on some fraudster’s radar now.
