This number rang me three times before I finally picked up. The bloke said he was from some national refund office and mentioned I was owed a big refund. He didn’t want to explain what for until I handed over my personal info, which I wasn’t having any of. Soon after, he just ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be a broker, saying I needed to sign up for term assurance. When I asked how they got my number, she kept saying I was already one of their clients. I asked for the company’s name and even brought up the data protection laws, but then she just cut me off. She was really pushy about trying to get my personal info.
