This number rang on our landline which is on the TPS register. As soon as I answered, the caller just dropped the call. Feels like a scammer just trying to see if someone’s there.

I usually ignore calls from numbers I don’t recognise, but since I was waiting on a call, I picked this one up. It was one of those recorded messages from a woman claiming to be from 'bank security', saying my account was at risk and that I should press a button to speak with someone immediately. Obviously, the bank wasn’t mentioned, and I’m certain if I’d gone along with it, it would’ve been a scam attempt. Just a heads up to be careful with these sorts of calls.
