Just got a call from someone saying they were from Sky, saying my maintenance was due to end today. I told them I don’t have any maintenance with them. They kept going on, saying that I’d been paying monthly for it. Definitely seemed like a scam to me.

I got a call from someone called Sam, claiming to be from Sky Maintenance, but they assured me they weren’t linked to the well-known Sky company. He said my TV breakdown cover was expiring today. I asked why I hadn’t been notified earlier and told him to send the info by post instead. He insisted I’d been paying £11 each month for the past year and needed to renew. Before I ended the call, I mentioned I had no contract with them and didn’t want any more calls. Then, just like that, he hung up on me.

Some bloke answered when I picked up, said he was calling from SKY about renewing my TV subscription or something. I told him I don’t even have SKY, asked nicely for him to take my number off their list. Then he just hung up.

Got a call on 24th June around 1:18pm from a bloke with a strong Asian accent, you could hear a bunch of people chatting in the background like a call centre. He said he was ringing from Sky, telling me my maintenance deal was nearly up. When I didn’t give him any info, he got pretty annoyed, started being rude and just hung up on me. Total SCAMMER.

Just as I answered, they hung up. This is the second time I've got a call from this number pretending to be someone else. Definitely a scam.

Got a call from some consumer related company, and the woman on the other end was really impolite. The moment I mentioned I was busy at work, she just dropped the call. No doubt, I’ve blocked the number now.

I just got a call from some lady with an accent who started asking if this was me, but there was loads of noise in the background, so I reckon it was a call centre. I quickly told her that’s not my name and she just ended the call straight away.
