Crikey! It appears I’ve rather foolishly got myself tangled up in this. I received a text declaring it was 'urgent' about a hefty parcel, asking me to phone +23270680, and what did I do? Yep, I gave them a bell-silence! And, even more daftly, I dialled the mobile number the message originated from and left a voicemail. Honestly, what was I thinking? Then, later in the week, my receptionist picked up a call from someone claiming to be 'express delivery,' yet they didn’t leave a call-back number. Could this be related?

Well, it appears I've rather foolishly got caught up in this! I received a message marked as !!urgent!! about a sizable parcel from +23222270680. So, naturally, I dialled the number-only to be met with silence. Even more embarrassingly, I also called the mobile number that sent the message and ended up leaving a voicemail. Honestly, what a plonker I am! Earlier this week, I had a call taken by my receptionist, with them urging us to get in touch with ‘express delivery’, but curiously, they didn’t leave a contact number. Could this all be connected?

I've experienced that call twice within a fortnight, and if I'm honest, it does feel like a bit of a scam.
