I received a telephone call from a rather articulate gentleman who identified himself as Malcolm Mullen. Strangely, he was aware of my complete name and residential address. He asserted that I had a significant debt to pay and threatened that bailiffs would arrive at my doorstep if I didn’t rectify the situation immediately. I suspect it was a scam!

Like others have said before, they sent bailiffs about some debt but wouldn’t provide any info or paperwork by email. They threatened a CCJ if I didn’t pay on the phone, saying the money would go straight to the company MD's personal account. I told them to send the bailiffs so I could get proper documents. Had a chat with my solicitor and apparently I’m the fourth person this month ringing about the same. Definitely a scam, best to just ignore it.

Got a call just like the one mentioned before, no business name given, they said there’s a ccj and bailiffs will be at my place in about an hour to take stuff unless I pay right away. Proper rude and pushy about it too.

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be from Hertford County Court, said he was an officer or something. He wanted £3000, saying he’d come round to deliver a CCJ notice. I asked him for his name but he wouldn’t give it, and I wasn’t convinced by his story. When I started asking questions, he just hung up on me. I rang up Hertford County Court afterwards and they said there was no record of anything like that against me. Definitely reported it to Action Fraud.
