After a few minutes of back-and-forth, I expressed my disinterest and informed her that her call was illegal as I am registered with the TPS (Telephone Preference Service). In response, she abruptly hung up on me. I consider this a personal victory when the scammer terminates the call first. It was evidently a fraudulent call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be my nearby energy consultant. Didn't bother sticking around since I've had similar calls in the past, and I'm pretty sure it's just a scam.

I got a call from what sounded like a scammer using some kind of automated bot. It was trying to ask me about my loft insulation and energy usage. I didn't respond to any of the questions or give any details, and eventually the bot just ended the call.

What I do when those lot call is grab a whistle and as soon as they start chatting, I just blow it right down the phone. It usually scares them off pretty quick!
