This morning, my Cyprus phone got a call from this number. It started with a bit of music but then the caller hung up pretty quickly. I reckon it might be one of those automated calls just checking if the number's active, which usually means more annoying calls down the line.

Somebody rang me and convinced me to invest in gold options, pretending to be a financial advisor. They gave me a link to a website that looked legit but it was actually a scam. Later, I got another call, this time supposedly from the options exchange, confirming the buy. They then emailed me details for transferring money to a foreign bank account. The site (E-NXT.NET) even displayed my account with a gold options contract, but it was all a lie. I only found out it was a con when I tried to withdraw money and nothing came through.
