This number keeps calling me but as soon as I pick up they just hang up. I tried calling back but it says the number isn’t valid. They’ve rung loads of times, so I’ve blocked it now.

Got about 20 calls in less than 2 weeks. Picked up a few times but no one ever speaks. I’ve just blocked the number now. It’s really annoying and feels like it shouldn’t be allowed. Was calling to pitch life insurance, mentioned a few firms they’re linked with. Bit hard to catch what he was saying but seemed polite enough. Once I told him I wasn’t keen, he quickly said thanks and apologised for the disturbance. Not threatening, just a bit irritating - sounds like a call centre overseas using a UK mobile number to trick you into answering.

Who on earth was that? Seriously, that’s what I want to know. Whenever I pick up, there’s no one there, which is pretty ridiculous. I’m never going to bother calling back if they can’t even be bothered to say who they are. I’ve got some choice words for them, but I’ll keep it civil and just label them as absolute POND SCUM, bottom feeders. Back when door-to-door salesmen were a thing, at least you could confront them face-to-face. But these sneaky little cowards now hide behind tech miles away. Like I said, POND SCUM!!!
