Got a text from this number saying it was from a local council about an unpaid parking ticket. I’m usually pretty good with paying for parking or sticking to the rules, so I was a bit suspicious. The message had a link which led me to what looked like a government site where it asked for my car registration. After I put it in, it showed a reference number and a £20 fine, but the part where it said where the offence happened was totally blank. I’ve decided to just ignore it because something felt off about the whole thing.
