Got a call from someone saying they were from Amazon Prime, threatening to cancel my membership. Typical scam stuff. The call was clearly from an Indian call centre, and they kept pushing me to install some sketchy software on my computer or phone. I just told them I was using a Linux phone, not an Android or iPhone, and they quickly ended the call lol.

Just received the usual dodgy voicemail from some scammers claiming my Amazon Prime is on the verge of cancellation. They urged me to press 1 to have a chat with their subscription 'manager' to resolve the issue. Before I knew it, I was connected to a typical Indian call centre - hilarious! They began their routine by inquiring whether I owned an iPhone or an Android device, and if I had a laptop or computer handy. Clearly, they were planning to have me download some dodgy software onto my devices. When I told them I was using a Linux phone, they cut the call faster than you can say “fraud scamper.” Absolute comedy gold!
