8 monthsWatch out for this number! It seems linked to scams aimed at stealing bank info. My elderly mum got caught out, and someone used her account to buy a ridiculously pricey phone. The cops, bank, and phone provider have all confirmed it’s a scam, with the callers pretending to work for the phone company. My tip - just block the number. Don’t trust them if they say they’re Vodafone. Instead, call Vodafone directly using the legitimate number on their website.Vodafone8 monthsI’m convinced this is a con!! My elderly mum’s been struggling sorting out her Vodaphone broadband payments, and soon after she tried to fix it, she got a call saying she’d get a refund for the hassle - but they mentioned they’d come round to her house and have her sign some forms to ‘approve the refund’. Something about it feels off, and I’ve told mum to report it to action fraud, plus if anyone shows up, she should ring the police straight away!!
