Avoid MLR Windows and Doors at all costs! They are total scammers. Really aggressive trying to squeeze your cash and then vanish, not picking up calls at all, like they’re avoiding you. Got a cheque for my refund thankfully, but the guy Raymond from Mulguie, Glasgow was a nightmare to deal with. Wouldn’t recommend dealing with them, honestly.

Got a couple of messages from this number saying I owe money for a parking fine and to follow the link to pay up. I ignored them straight away. I’m 100% sure I don’t have any fines because I never leave my van parked in places where I'd get ticketed.

Got this message pretending to be from Royal Mail saying my delivery's on hold 'cos my address info's missing. It asked me to click a link to sort it out or just reply "Y" to confirm. Told me to open it in Chrome for updating the details quickly. Pretty sure it’s a scam trying to get personal info. Beware if you get something like this!

Got five calls from this number all in the same day. Every time I tried to pick up, it just hung up straight away the first four times. On the last call, I finally managed to speak with someone who was trying to pitch me a job. Pretty sure it was just another scam.

It's really frustrating how BT only lets you block up to 100 numbers. You'd think the government would make laws to help, but they don't seem to check if they're actually being followed! I've had to block so many nuisance calls but hit that limit ages ago. Seriously, why not have no cap? BLOCKED!

Loads of these scam calls come from Indian and Russian groups who use millions of made-up UK numbers, most generated by computers, to ring people at random. Quite often, those numbers are actually assigned to unsuspecting folks in the UK, which is probably what's happened here. That’s why it’s a bad idea to return calls to numbers you don’t recognise. Plus, it might be a wangiri scam too. If you ever did ring back some unknown number and just got music or voicemail, check your phone charges - you might be getting stung. Worst case, you might end up speaking to a proper crook.

Got a call one day from someone claiming to be Visa, warning me about huge charges on my card and telling me to press 1 to cancel them. They were calling from a mobile number, which seemed fishy right away. Seriously, who calls from a mobile for something like that? Don’t fall for it, folks. Always double-check before you do anything!

Like others have mentioned before, if you ring this number again, you’ll get a voicemail from the phone’s actual owner explaining that scammers pretending to be from a loft insulation firm have hacked his number. He’s asked folks not to leave any voicemails since his inbox is overflowing and he knows exactly what’s going on. He’s working on sorting it out, but because the scammers are based outside the UK, it’s been quite tricky for him to fix.

When I asked why they needed my info, it just repeated the same lines, then randomly asked about the age of my insulation. It couldn't even tell me my own address ‘cause obviously it doesn’t have that info. Don’t share anything with them, just hang up and block straight away!

This number belongs to a private person whose details have been faked by scammers. I've managed to get in touch with the real owner and he’s really angry about the whole situation. Sadly, his only option is to cancel his business line. If you try calling back, you'll hear a voicemail explaining what's been happening. Vodafone seriously need to improve their systems and fix this issue properly.

I received a rather peculiar phone call the other day from someone who said he represented an energy firm. He was probing into details about my home, inquiring specifically about the number of spare rooms we have and also the insulation in our loft. He even suggested sending a team over to inspect our loft space. I swiftly declined his offer. Not interested at all!
