Got a message today supposedly from the UK Government about some Cost of Living update, saying because the heating subsidy got stopped, I could apply for a new payment that supposedly won’t interfere with other benefits I receive. It mentioned a payout of “€900 split in 3 payments to your bank by the 1st of November.” Deadline to apply was said to be the 23rd of October and there was a link attached. This seemed a bit dodgy to me since I wasn’t expecting anything like this.
