Sounds like a total scam to me. They said it was an urgent message from BT about cutting off my email account. I wouldn’t recommend doing what they say at all.

That's actually the phone number for my cleaning service. Lately, loads of people have been ringing, asking who I am, which was really confusing at first. Didn't twig what was happening until I'd had about 15 calls and then I realised someone’s gone and nicked my number.
