I got a call from some dodgy bloke after he’d somehow got into a guy's bank account and transferred money into mine. I’d done some job for the guy years ago (not the scammer, obviously) so it all seemed legit, even had the exact same reference from like seven years back. Then this person emailed me their bank info, asking me to send the cash back, so I did. Turns out, they’d tricked their way into the account - they’re total con artists scamming innocent people. Proper lowlife stuff.
