Got a message from this number saying it was HMRC and that I was owed a tax refund. Felt off straight away and reckoned it was a scam, so I blocked the number. The legit HMRC site warns you not to reply to texts asking for personal info or to click on any links promising refunds. Pretty sure this was one of those dodgy ones.

Got a call from 07830627730 saying it was HMRC. They told me I was due a tax rebate and asked me to click a link to check my claim: [#]ukrebate[###]/. Looked fishy to me, so I didn’t bother with it. Seems like one of those scams to me.
