Got a message saying it was from Nationwide, claiming my card charged £19.01 while I was fast asleep! Told me to ring +8004643139. Had a look on Nationwide’s site and that number isn’t theirs at all. Later on, another text popped up saying my card had suspicious activity and was frozen, claiming the first alert was legit and sent from +447830306244. Seriously, don’t click on links or call numbers from texts like that - always ring your bank using their official contact details!
