this company doing marketing calls uses loads of numbers that begin with your local code. they ring me like twice a day and keep at it, even after i told them i'd report them. so annoying!

I reckon it's just a scammer or some silent caller messing about, so I ended up blocking the number after getting about 20 calls from these muppets. Ofcom seems totally useless and doesn't do a thing to sort it out.
