I got a recorded call claiming my card was billed almost £700 by Amazon, telling me to press 1 to talk to an agent about it... total rubbish. The number is linked to Hutchison 3G UK Limited, which is mainly a mobile network provider. They do mobile phones, SIM cards, broadband plans, and all sorts of pay monthly or pay as you go stuff. They’re meant to serve customers everywhere, but seriously, why would they be ringing me about a bank card charge? Bit dodgy if you ask me!
