I got a text asking if I was at work, and I thought it was a wrong number. When I asked who they were, they said, ‘Caroline from Hays Recruitment Service’ and said they had a remote job offer, either full or part time, and asked if they could send me the details. I instantly felt it was dodgy since I’m not job hunting and haven’t shared my number anywhere. So I told them no and asked how they even got my number. They just ignored me after that.
