Got a message about someone being added to my payee, but they didn’t even get my bank account number right. Definitely a scam, don’t bother clicking on any links in it.

Got a text out of the blue saying someone’s been put on my account as a payee. Not sure what’s going on or how that even happened! Feeling a bit worried now.

Got a message from "HSBC" saying a payee named MR G ALBERT was added to my online banking account. Thing is, I don't even have an HSBC bank account. Obviously a phishing attempt. The text told me to cancel right away through some hsbcuk.service-support link [###]. Don't fall for it and definitely don’t press the link!

Got a message saying someone called Mr G Albert got added to my payee list, with a link to click if it wasn’t me. I don’t even use HSBC, so it’s clearly a phishing attempt. Watch out, folks!
