I got a call that sounded like it was from an overseas call centre, judging by the delay in the reply. The person on the other end spoke with such a strong accent that I could barely make out a word. I ended up asking him to say everything again a few times. He told me he was with EE and that EE and BT had joined forces. He said I needed a new SIM or else my phone would stop working soon. That’s when I just hung up.
