Got a call from a woman using a mobile, she said my name and claimed I was owed some tax back from PPI. I’m pretty sure there’s no tax refund coming my way from PPI and she didn’t even know which bank she was talking about. Honestly, she sounded quite clueless. This has scam written all over it. Best to block the number and just ignore it!

Missed the call as I didn't know the number. If it was important, they could always drop a voicemail! Probably one of those annoying cold calls or a scam, I reckon.

So, I’m in Liverpool and this number 07827 3112153 called me earlier. It was this woman with a clear English accent, saying I could claim back some tax from a PPI case from ages ago. I shut her down quick, told her to find a real job instead of bothering people like this, and then I just ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from a company that deals with PPI, saying they could get back tax we'd supposedly paid on a PPI payout we got ages ago. Thing is, we've never made any PPI claims or received any refunds, so it felt fishy and like a scam to me.
