I got a message on WhatsApp from someone claiming to be Amelia, saying she’s with The Best Connections Recruitment UK and asking if I want a remote job, with training and pay between £50-£120. She said I’d need to have the right to work here and a bank account too. Then, they tried calling me on WhatsApp - I picked up but only with audio, no video, and the call suddenly ended. I rang the agency’s Newcastle office after and they told me they don't do business using WhatsApp at all. So, seems dodgy to me.
