Got a message saying HSBC spotted something odd with my account about a payee request. They asked me to click a link to confirm or cancel it. Thing is, I don’t even have an HSBC account and haven’t sent any payments. Seems like a phishing scam to me, but I’m not gonna click or reply ‘cos don’t want them to realise this number’s active, so I just deleted it.

Got a call saying there was a parcel from Royal Mail waiting, but I had to pay an outstanding fee by clicking on some link. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

Got a text from 07826 481 309 claiming to be HSBC saying "HSBC: We've noticed an unusual payee request on your account. Please click here [#]auth-delete-payee[###]/ to confirm or cancel." But I don't even have an HSBC account! Definitely a scam.
