I got a call from a man with a thick Indian accent on a really crackly line claiming to be "John Rodgers" from Openreach, saying there were issues with my internet connection recently. I told him I don’t actually have broadband because I use Starlink satellite. He kept insisting I must have broadband, saying things like, "How else are we speaking?" and "How do you get emails then?" I explained that we’re using a traditional telephone line, you know, copper wires - that old tech that's been around for ages, like over a century. After that, he just ended the call.
