Got a call from someone with an Asian accent working in a noisy call centre, said they'd got my info from the UK's HR dept and were sending me PPI paperwork to complete and send back so they could handle the claim. Some bloke called me saying he was Warwick from British Gas. I asked where he got my number from and he just ended the call. You could hear a delay when I picked up and loads of noise from what sounded like a busy call centre.

Just like a lot of people here, I got a call from a woman who sounded Asian, with loads of background noise like she was in a busy call centre, and the line had a weird delay. I reckon she wasn’t calling from the UK. She claimed to be from British Gas and wanted to check my address. When I said I wasn’t a customer, she got all pushy and kept asking questions, so I hung up. Don’t give them any info - they're probably trying to snag your personal details to sell on. I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call from a friendly lady, sounded like she had an Indian or Asian accent, and you could hear lots of other voices in the background like a hectic call centre. She said she was calling from British Gas and even had my previous address. I told her I wasn’t with British Gas, then she started naming loads of other utility firms. Woman with an Indian accent called me and already knew my name. I ended the call before she even said British Gas. Blocked yet another mobile number! Seriously, can some politician stop all the Brexit nonsense and actually do something about this? Vodafone and the other networks should shut down these annoying scam lines. Just think about all the time we’re wasting dealing with this stuff below.

Got loads of calls from the same number - first one claimed to be British Gas. Told them I haven’t used their services in ages, nor any of the other big energy firms, and the bloke just hung up on me, very rude. About half an hour later, the same number called again but this time a woman who knew my address and email, trying to get me to send back PPI forms urgently. Neither of them spoke English well, I had to ask them to go over themselves a few times. Blocked the number now and labelled it as pure rubbish!!

Got loads of calls from the same number. First time a bloke said he was from British Gas, but when I told him I haven’t used them or any of the big six in ages, he just hung up rudely. Then, about half an hour later, the same number called again, this time a woman who had my address and email, saying something about PPI and that she needed me to send it back quick. Neither of them spoke very clear English and I had to ask them to repeat themselves a few times. Anyway, I’ve blocked the number now and put it right in the rubbish pile!
