Got a call from someone saying they were with Virgin. Their English was awful and it felt a bit off, like a scam or something. Didn't trust it at all and just hung up. Be careful with these calls!

This bloke claimed to be from BT Openreach, saying some dodgy foreign IPs were hacking into our internet. He rang our landline but wanted me to use my mobile instead. When I said no, he got pretty aggressive. I told him we don’t even have BT (didn’t mention our actual provider) and he went off, shouting that I was fibbing and needed to follow his instructions to fix it. I called him out for lying and he just yelled at me, insisting I had no proof. So I ended up hanging up on him.
