Had this call from a London landline yesterday claiming my computer was infected or something (what a load of rubbish!!!), and get this, the sneaky lot (bet it was one of those Indian call centres) switched to ringing my mobile! They were pretty stubborn, but the moment I mentioned I was actually a Police Officer, they ended the call really quick! Maybe the laptop is fine after all!
