Got a dodgy call from someone pretending to be Visa support, telling me there was a £799 charge on Amazon using my card. I figured I’d humour them a bit. First off, legit banks never ring from a mobile, they usually use official numbers. Second, they couldn’t even say which card was supposedly used. And the best bit? They didn’t know my name, so I clearly spelled it out loud for them... Miss Scam-a-lot. After that, they just buzzed off and ended the call. Total waste of time.
