A guy with an Asian accent rang me claiming to be from EE, promising a loyalty discount. He said he’d send over a 6-digit code to prove he was legit. Turns out, that was actually for resetting a password. I know EE confirmation codes are only 4 digits long. I ended the call, but then he rang me back from 01380 400370. He told me I'd be getting a new contract sent by DPD and that I’d receive another 6-digit code. I checked with EE who confirmed no changes had been made to my account, so this has to be a scam.

This lady claimed to be from Sky, saying they could give me a 40% discount but asked how much I was paying atm. I tried to check by asking if she had my account details on screen, but she said no, she wasn’t allowed to see that info, only to offer discounts. That didn’t make much sense to me. A 40% cut from Sky sounded pretty fishy anyway. I told her I get calls from loads of telecom firms pushing deals, even though I’m not a customer. Then I thanked her and ended the call. Definite addition to the blocked numbers list.
