It kept buzzing a few times over the hour and since I didn't know the number, I just ignored it. When I tried to call back, it said the number wasn’t valid or something like that. The number was 07824 910221.

They said they were from the “Credit investigations department”. Best thing to do is just hang up and ignore it. A proper government or company dept wouldn’t just ring on a mobile, they’d have a landline number for sure!!!

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent, they just hung up right after. Definitely a fake credit check, don’t trust it.

A man with an Asian accent, called himself Mr Hussan, rang me and claimed he got my info from Citizens Advice about some debts. I asked him to remove my details from whatever list he had, but he just said I didn’t want to pay my debts. When I told him no one should be passing around my personal info without asking me first, he just ended the call.

I got a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming to be from a Credit Investigation team. They said my records show I have unpaid stuff like payday loans and credit cards, but never said where those records come from. When I asked for specifics, they just ended the call.

I think the number is fake and just made by a computer, they ring you but there’s no way to get back in touch with them.
