Had some idiot on the phone threatening to tow my car - only problem is I've already sold it ages ago, and the fine they're banging on about got paid over a year back. What a joke!

Someone rang claiming to be an enforcement officer, saying there was a warrant for me since I missed a court appearance. They said it was about a fine for not having a ticket on a train journey on 24th August. Thing is, I wasn’t even on a train that day. Could be a scam, right? They asked for my date of birth, which I gave, but then they said they’d call back and never did. Still waiting to hear from them now.

Just had a call from Equita, the bailiff’s number, and I must say it’s beyond ridiculous. If you receive a call from them, I’d recommend ignoring it entirely and heading straight for Citizens Advice instead.

Equita bailiffs are a complete joke! It's utterly ridiculous. If you happen to receive a call from them, just disregard it entirely and head straight to the advice centres-they’re the ones who can actually help you sort this mess out.
