Had this sketchy guy ring me, trying to find 'live' folks who'd actually answer (guilty as charged). The number on my caller ID looked like a normal mobile, so I thought nothing of it. But once you answer, they start selling your digits to other dodgy characters. Just a heads up: usually, if it's legit, they'll leave a voicemail before chasing you down.

I've seen loads of searches for this number lately but hardly anyone's dropping a comment to warn folks - it would really help if more people shared what’s been happening with these scammers so we can all get a better idea of their tricks. Please, if you’ve had contact, leave a note!

Somebody rang me saying they were from the National Insurance department, but I’m pretty sure it wasnt genuine.

The phone rang, someone claiming it was about a Magistrates matter. They said if I didn’t get back to them, I’d be in bigger trouble. It was one of those automated calls that made me press buttons trying to reach a person, but I just hung up straight away.
