This number 072380518970 keeps calling me over and over. I tried calling back but can’t get through. I’ve had calls from it before so I blocked it straight away. Sounds like a scam or some sort of fraud, really annoying and feels unsafe. Please block this number asap!

Got a call from an Asian bloke last Friday, said he was from some credit investigation team. He asked if I was Mr Phil --------. I said yes, then he told me his name was Pravin. I told him I’ve got no credit problems and politely ended the call. I’m not falling for any dodgy scams trying to make me doubt myself. I always pay my bills on time. These scammers should be caught and dealt with properly!

I just got a ring from this number, and it’s creepy how much they already know about me - feels like some data leak or GDPR breach has happened. They kept going on about some debts I supposedly owe. I told them to shove it and ended the call right away. Wish I hadn’t picked up but I was waiting for another call, so thought it might be legit.

Some bloke rang me and actually knew my name, then started going on about me owing money. I asked him what debt he was talking about and where he got that info from, but he refused to say. Told him I couldn't do anything about it, then he just ended the call.

Got a call from some bloke called Jason, who was probably overseas, going on about my supposed debts I’m paying off every month - which I had no idea about. When I told him I wasn’t repaying anything monthly, he just ended the call straight away. This isn’t the first time I’ve had calls from these lot - seems like a total scam to me. I've always had my numbers registered with TPS, so I’m curious how these scumbags get hold of them in the first place.

Got a call from 07823904263 claiming the government ran a scheme in the Covid era to clear 70% of people's debts. When I asked where they were calling from, I said if they already had my details then they shouldn't need to ask about any debts I have. I requested their number to ring back and verify, but they just gave a number and then cut me off! Definitely a scam.

Got a ring from this number earlier today - I picked up because I was waiting on a call from someone not saved in my contacts. Pretty sure it was a scam though. The person on the other end claimed they had some details from the Financial Conduct Authority and wanted to chat about my finances. I told them straight up there’s no way I’m sharing personal stuff with some random bloke on the phone, then I just ended the call. Blocked the number right away.
