As soon as I answered with a simple hello, this weird automated voice starts up. It goes on about how there’s been a 70 quid purchase at Sainsburys and another at Tesco, then tells me to press 1 if it wasn’t me. Clearly, it’s a dodgy scam pretending to be the bank, probably trying to trick older people who might fall for it. I’m on the TPS list, so why do these crooks bother? Makes no sense!
