Blimey! Just had a call of the same ilk and promptly sent the ring back. The message was eerily similar to what’s been mentioned before - an automated voice that had a rather peculiar tone to it.

I've just had a missed call from 07822904011. It rang once and then abruptly disconnected. Curiosity got the better of me, so I gave the number a call back from the office phone. All I got was a robotic voice, sounding suspiciously like Lurch, saying "thank you for calling..." or something along those lines. We hung up pretty quickly, as we had no clue what they were trying to sell us, but it certainly felt like some sort of scam. Best to steer clear, I reckon!

Blimey, I've just had a similar experience! Answered the call and promptly handed the phone back. Got the same old automated messages but the voice sounded rather peculiar!
