I tried ringing the number again but kept getting a message saying it’s no longer in service. Sounds like a one-way system from a call centre where they block calls coming back in. Has anyone here actually managed to speak to someone on this number?

Some bloke rang me, said he was from a credit checking firm wanting to 'assist' with my debts. Considering I don’t have any debts, I told him to jog on, and he just cut the call straight away.

Some bloke claimed he was from credit checks, but as soon as I caught on, I just ended the call.

Got a call claiming my info was sent to some government dept for debt help, saying I could wipe out like 60-70% of what I owe. Had a bit of a back and forth with them, said a few not-so-nice things, then just ended the call and blocked the number. Bet they’ll ring again soon, probably from a totally different number!

In the past few weeks I’ve received like 25 calls from these annoying scammers! My partner decided to call them back and the person on the line claimed they were from Manchester (but spelled it wrong!), yet had really strong Indian accents, so obviously a call centre somewhere else. Honestly, just don’t pick up!

got 3 calls from them today, ignored all of em and blocked the number but they just call from some new mobile number each time. so annoying!

Whenever I'm not sure about a number, I just let it ring out to voicemail. Of course, there’s never any message left 🚫. So I looked up the comments here and saw lots of people had bad experiences too. Done with it - number’s blocked 🚷.
