I only found out about it after raising the issue of spam calls with my local MP. It’s clear scammers want to keep this under wraps. If you don’t report these dodgy attempts properly, don’t expect them to get busted anytime soon. While you can report to 7726, your mobile provider, Ofcom, or even the businesses being impersonated, these won’t always get forwarded to the police for a criminal probe.
