Got this dodgy text saying my parcel couldn't be delivered 'cause no one was in. It said to pick a new day at some sketchy link like https://postoffice-depot.supply. Looks like one of those post office delivery scams to me. Avoid clicking, folks!

Got a robocall warning me about a £600 payment made abroad on my debit card. It told me to press 1 to either accept or cancel the transaction. I just ended the call because my bank’s fraud department always contacts me directly.

So I got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, and I tried to find out who it could be. I stumbled upon a few numbers around the same area code, and it looks like they’re mostly scammers or telemarketing types. Has anyone else had a run-in with any of these?

this is probably one of those shared cost lines, ive seen loads of very similar numbers just changing last few digits so it looks like the same call centre or something. from what ive heard, they often turn out to be scams, like ppi claims or fake debt recovery calls trying to mess with your money. honestly, dont bother ringing them back, it could end up costing loads. anyone else actually picked up when they called?
