I received a call from someone with an Asian accent who purported to be from Visa Credit. Apparently, £600 had been withdrawn from my account by someone in Montana. When I inquired about which card they were referring to, they became quite defensive with me. I mentioned that I was verifying the information, and they abruptly cut the line. Remarkably, they called back from a different number, asserting that the £600 had been sent to Western Union. They persistently asked for my banking details and insisted that I "go online, go online." Clearly, a bunch of crooks. I've reported the calls to Action Fraud.
