I answered but said nothing, then all of a sudden I heard a long beep before the call just dropped.

This number rang me and it was an old guy on the other end who gave me his name. He claimed he’d seen a missed call from me on his phone, which was weird because I’ve never called him before. It’s obvious that scammers must be spoofing my number and maybe his as well. When I looked up the number, it showed up as suspicious and linked to harassment. I don’t think it’s really this elderly man making the calls, it’s probably just scammers pretending to be him.

Got a call from some automated voice saying my Amazon Prime subscription was up for renewal. Thing is, I don't even have Amazon Prime. Total scam if you ask me.
