They rang a couple days back but I didn’t pick up, today I finally did and they just ended the call straight away. Can’t be that urgent really. It’s annoying though, I get anxious and dread getting calls or messages about debts I’ve never owed.

A friendly bloke with an Indian accent called, saying he could help sort out all my debts. I was so excited I quickly handed over my bank info and address. He seemed like a really nice young guy. He also wanted to know what valuables I’ve got at home, and what time I’d be going to my local bingo evening and how long I’d be there. Not sure why, but it was kinda nice having someone actually interested in my life for a change. Really pleased with how it went.

Got a call from 07818598604, some bloke saying he got my info from CAB about some unsecured debts. He knew my name and when I told him CAB shouldn’t be sharing personal stuff, he just asked if it was alright they did. Told him no way, with all the scams going about I’m not sure what to trust. Then he just ended the call.

Got a call a couple days back. I told them my name and then they started talking about debts. I told them everything was settled but they kept going on. I ended up hanging up. They’ve called me three times today but I didn’t pick up. Next time they ring I’ll block the number.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent asking about any unsecured debts I might have. When I told her I didn't, she got rude and I just ended the call. This has happened twice in as many days. Just a heads up, be careful!

Govt debt scam call. I told the bloke I was just here visiting from Australia and don’t owe any money as I aint got an income. He then, very rudely and with a strong foreign accent, told me to "Get the hell out of his country". Thing is, I was actually born here, nowhere near Bangladesh or Delhi. Proper dodgy.

Got a call on my mobile from an Asian lady who knew my first name, said she could sort out all my credit card debts and stuff. Classic rubbish. Told her straight away to jog on and she just cut me off. Proper scammers, watch out.

Today (22/6/2016) I got a call from an Asian woman claiming to be from a "Government Data Agency" on mobile 07818598604. I was using my laptop at the time, so I quickly searched the number online and found loads of reports saying it's a scam. I told her I knew it was a scam and demanded they remove my number from their list. She asked, "Who told you it's a scam?" I replied that I saw it on several websites straight away on Google. She actually laughed and said, "YOUR COMPUTER IS LYING!" yeah, right, my computer's lying... I just told her goodbye and ended the call.

Got a call from an Asian bloke about some credit thing. Told him he dialed wrong but he started swearing at me, saying "f##k off" and some horrible stuff. I’m really shaken up by it. Now I’m thinking of changing my number because of this mess.

Got a call from some Asian bloke saying his name was Alan, claiming he could sort out my debts, which I dont even have. Asked for my info and when I told him he sounded more like Ramish than Alan, he got really rude. Had to tell him to damn well leave me alone a few times before he finally hung up. Stay away from these con artists!

About a month ago, I received a call from this number regarding some incident at a warehouse. When I confronted him about it, he had the audacity to tell me to shove off! Just today, he rang me again, the same bloke, this time prattling on about how he could assist me with my debt issues. I played along for a bit, then decided enough was enough and told him to bugger off. I must say, it feels quite satisfying to have put him in his place. - caller: 07818589604

Got a call from an Asian bloke claiming I qualified for some government debt relief plan. When I said I wasn’t sharing any info on the phone, he got proper mardy and said he had my address right there in front of him. I just told him I didn’t buy it one bit and ended the call sharpish.

so some bloke called alex mercer from citizens advice about debt payments every month. i asked him where he got my info from and he said my dad, but my dad passed away 27 years ago. i told him since he cold called me, i’d be charging him and the call centre £100 a minute for wasting my time on the phone. when i asked where to send the invoice he just called me a bistitd and hung up. of course, ive blocked his number now.

Got a call from an Asian bloke about some government deal where I pay off part of my debts and the rest gets wiped. Not sure if it's legit, but they had loads of my personal info like my name and address. Spent about 30 minutes talking about all my debts, then got a funny feeling and ended the call. Since then, they've been ringing back to finish the application. Didn’t give out any bank details or card info, but it’s odd they already knew so much about me.

So this morning, I got a call from a woman who sounded like she was either from Canada or the US, saying she was from Microsoft and that my computer was hacked. She asked me what I was seeing on my screen. I told her I could see the police on their way to get her. She ended up swearing and just hung up. What a lovely way to waste my morning!

Got a call from this same number about some supposed unpaid debt of mine. When I asked how they got my details, they said it came from my mum. I was like, my mum? That’s quite something considering she’s been dead for 15 years now. Then they just hung up. Really wish I had a number to call them back on so I could lodge a proper complaint.

i’m proper annoyed after picking up this call. some woman with an indian accent, obviously from a call centre, says she’s calling from the fsa, the financial services authority, about legal stuff regarding my debts. problem is, the fsa doesn’t even exist anymore. when i asked her about it, she claimed the fsa is in manchester, and when i asked for her manager, she just cut me off. don’t bother answering, just block this number.

Some guy called Mike, sounded Asian, said he was from Citizen Advice. He told me I owed money and the government would cover 70% of it. I told him I don’t owe anything and he just ended the call.

got a guy with an indian accent, but the line was awful, kept dropping out. he claimed to be from some company doing surveys about loans and credit card debts. i told him i'm fed up with these calls and before i could say more, he just hung up. normally i wouldn't pick up, but i was waiting for an important call. they must change numbers all the time. how do you even figure out which mobile numbers are safe to pick up?

Its those same scammers from Pakistan again, theyve been ringin from loads of fake 0777 numbers. They wanna trick you into handin over personal stuff for identity theft and money scams. Just hang up and block em, dont share any details. Proper nasty scam.
