Claiming to be an authorised Orange service provider, they inquired about our telephone usage since we’re quite frequent callers. However, things took a turn when they got a bit snappy, saying they wanted to help us lower our bills. Yet, they didn’t propose any solutions and just hung up on us. Quite baffling, really!

She stated that we were classified as "heavy users" and then inquired how much we spent on top of our usual costs in a week. We simply said, "not a great deal." After this, she quickly apologised for wasting our time and hung up. It all felt rather dodgy, to be honest.

The callers assert they’re affiliated with Orange and entice you with the promise of a complimentary phone upgrade, albeit with a monthly fee attached. However, it’s best to steer clear of this offer as it seems rather dubious! They appear to be operating as a third party, and it’s our suspicion that the individuals making these calls earn a commission based on the number of contracts they manage to peddle. When you try to return their call, you'll invariably land straight in a voicemail box that seems perpetually full. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
