I received a call about a debt resolution, and they were familiar with my name, which I found quite odd. However, I didn’t engage with them and decided to cut the conversation short. It's strange that it came from a mobile number. I’ve gone ahead and blocked it just to be safe.

Received a rather forceful phone call concerning a debt I apparently owe. The individual on the other end knew my name and was incredibly brash and unpleasant. After enduring the awkwardness, I terminated the call, only to find they'd bombarded me with six missed calls in quick succession. When I eventually picked up again, the caller claimed they were reaching out because I had sought assistance with my debts - which is utterly untrue. They continued to be quite insistent. I mentioned that I'd be hanging up and blocking their number, to which they responded that blocking wouldn’t work as they’d simply ring from a different line. Quite the nerve!
